I was just heading out on the trail. I couldn't help but notice a nice looking blonde ahead of me. Hey beautiful. Nice walking stick.

Ok, I met her in a bar the other night and asked her out. But she really does like to hike and she really did like the Izula II.
 
HD you old devil! looks like a good time! i like the spanish moss in the trees....did you know spanish moss is a species of tillandsia...it bears a tiny purple/blue-ish flower.

No. I had never met her before. Maybe she has a thing for fat old gray haired men, I don't know. But she does like the outdoors and we had a good time together. Trying to talk her into going to Blade with me. :D She does know how to handle a knife, make fires, and do all that boy scout stuff. She didn't mind me taking pictures and posting them. So what the heck? I just enjoyed the day.

That's the way I see it, too, JUST1MOR. You never really know unless you get out there and ask. She said she really enjoyed getting out and walking in the woods. I figured the worst thing that would happen is she would decline my offer, but for some strange reason this hot younger woman wanted to go hiking with me. I enjoyed it. :D

I think I will need to order another Izula II soon. She seems to like hanging out with me. Go figure.

Nice thread HD. Great scenery there in your neck of the woods. I miss the deep southern landscape a lot sometimes. Pretty hiking partner with really pretty eyes you found there. Be careful...the last younger girl I went hiking with was 19, and 19 years younger than me. We've been married for almost 8 years now.
 
Great little story. But, in my experience a broad with a blade isnt always so cute and nice, trust me, dont ask...

My late wife who passed in 2001 was nearly 15 years younger than I. She was a cute petite blonde, too, so I am aware of the dangers. In any case, I thought she added to the scenery. She wants to go shooting and motorcyling next. Good grief, even in my old age I can't seem to break some habits. :eek:

She was there with her father, who I have known for some time. They both like to sing and play various instruments. He asked me my intentions. I told him I intended to have another beer and get to know his daughter better, and he was ok with that. :D The old man is 6' 4" tall, ex LEO and a fine gentleman. I wouldn't want to cross him, but we like each other. I had never met his daughter before. She is ex Air Force.
