I just posted the SPF response for my my most beloved knife. I was sitting here, on the verge of tears (over a knife? :rolleyes: pisces are too sentimental...) when a thought came to me and I instantly had an ear to ear smile.

You guessed it, Lexi, Lora, Pokey, Naomi, or gals that just love Busses, do you ladies have any interest in an all female chopping competition at/around the time of this coming Blade Show? I bet QueenB SueZQ would be willing to oversee/train the ladies in the finer, safer arts of chopping (men are no good, we go at everything with brute force, a hammer, a Busse and lots of band-aids lol).

Soooooo? What do ya gals think? (just thinking this could spawn a women using Busses picture thread...)

I'm suprised suzy hasn't seen this yet. Would make an awesome thread, too. We could probably hit the back 40 a little later. . .
 
Is there going to be any bets taken? Haha. Edited to add: It would be cool to see something set up like a competition such as rope cuts, 2x4 chopping, etc. IIRC, there used to be a video of Jennifer cutting cleanly through a hanging rope. Regardless, anything to do with Busse-kin knives and chopping is going to be sweet.

I was trained by Voracious, so brute force is all I can offer. I'd be happy to hand out the bandaids though. :)
PS, I am only the QueenB around this hive.
 
I am all in for this!!!! It won't be able to take place at Blade Show because the gals are just way too busy to leave the booth.

So modest. I'd glanced over the responses earlier but I didn't have time to respond. I got it mixed up in my head and I thought Voracious had said you were only the queen bee around here. I was going to tell him to watch out, that you were going to brain him :)

Si. I need to book my plane ticket soon and I was thinking about staying in Atlanta/surrounding area for a couple extra days to see the sights. Is there thread about where the Hogs usually stay?

At past Blade shows, hogs have stayed at various hotels. But stay at the Waverly Renaissance Hotel. It's connected to the show and is where EVERYONE from the show congregates (in the Pit) and that way you don't have to go far to your room (If you're a drinker or get tired, etc). Nice place and I've enjoyed my stays there before :) It does tend to run a bit more then other places though.
