Women's knives

My wife likes bigger and meaner knives than I do, so anything along the lines of a BM FixedGrip. I'm sure she'd carry my 16in tram if it had a sheath.

Friend of mine, she just bought her first folders. RAT 2, Kizer flipper, Real Steel Sea Eagle, and Byrd Meadowlark II. Tried to tell her how great Spydercos are, but she hates the look of them.

My better half always has her little SAK classic on her keyring in a leather pouch sheath to [protect it from the keys. She loves the classic and has had to replace it a few times when she lost one to TSA. Now she has a purple, a yellow, and a red one stashed around as spares. For bigger things she keeps a Victorinox recruit in her purse. A fixed blade mora is in her daypack that she carries hiking, woods rambling and fishing.

Our daughter, Jesica, keeps a pink Victorinox classic on her keys as well having learned from mommy as a little girl that a sharp bade, a nail file and small scissors is handy. Two of our granddaughters are also fans of Victorinox. One niece has been collecting the different artwork classics that Victorinox has been releasing.

For camping, fishing, etc., my wife and I carry an ESEE 3 or Spyderco Sprig.

My other/better half carries a BM Sequel in her pocket, CRK Gabon Mnandi in her purse, a Spyderco full serrated Harpy and a Lone Wolf something or other (wood handle/button lock) for gardening chores, and an OKC Bushcraft Woodsman for Bush work. She beats the crap outta them. Im kinda jealous. ;) She may have a better collection than me! She also owns the longest blade! Haha. Best part...shes not even a knife person! Its great.

Although, i must add, she is a great cook/chef and does own a good collection of globals. She actually may have more knives than me. ;) She is away at a show right now, or i would take a picture for you all. I think she took 3 of her knives with her. What a lady!!

She carries a cold steel kobun and maxam nighthawk in vehicle. What can I say, she's classy.

Gave my best friend a Spyderco Delica, and it gets carried and used with some frequency. It's always nice to give one you know will actually get used.

Heck thats probably enough.

My wife has a Delica that she carries on occasion. She's definitely not an EDC type girl with knives but when she's wearing jeans I do see her carrying every once in a while. She likes the size and that she can easily manipulate the lock. I might get her to pick out a fixed blade to try at some point. She doesn't carry knives for defensive purposes but I would like her to start thinking about the benefits as a secondary or backup.
