CRK has used many different woods in their Annual LEs over the years. Who can name them in the picture below from left to right?

I know nothing of sebenzas, but I will take a crack at the wood game just for fun!

Guesses are:

1. walnut burl
2. maple burl
3. buckeye burl
4. amboyna burl
5. box elder burl
6. redwood burl

How many did I get right?
 
wow you could have fooled me; I was more sure about 1 and 2 I thought!! I guess I could have gone with mallee burl on 1 and dyed box elder burl on 2 That first one is hard not looking at it in person; I feel like it resembles quite a few of the darker burls. If number 2 is not maple or box elder burl I am stumped on that one for sure!
 
sorry me again :-) are you sure that second one is not maple burl; I'm almost 100% sure that I got that one right too.

PS. I figured out what the first one is after looking at some wood online and comparing...but I won't give it away because I wouldn't have guessed that one at all. :-)
 
Sorry, you're right #2 is indeed Maple. I misread your post. The only outlier now is #1.
 
good! I was beginning to doubt my wood knowledge :-) Still wouldn't have gotten that first one right though for a while. Guess I need to do more wood studying :-) Thanks for the game!
