Hello Dakota

These people have a good selection of stabilized and natural wood.

They are also good people to deal with, and you can see each set of scales on the sight.

I have had good luck with the quality of Staburl.com, Mixed results with others. He doesn't have a whole lot out right now but I can assure you what he has is of good quality.

You can also find some nice deal on eBay , make sure to buy from someone with excellent feedback.
I've gotten the bulk of my wood off of there and it was suprisingly cheap.
Not only that but I was able ti find a few guys that sell nice thin boards that are the perfect thickness for scales.
Not having too many of own power tools makes that a very nice feature.

Best thing is to go to a knife show and pick through the scales available.Pop's always has a lot of first class handle material at the shows.

are there any shows in the sacramento , california area? and how would i find them and dates. If there is any Reno shows i can easily make the trip there.
