A sloyd knife that i forged from 52100 high carbon steel. I heat treated this to Rc 60, hard enough to hold an excellent edge but not so hard that it could chip. The blade geometry is a slight convex to a zero thickness at the edge, it sings through the wood. Overall length is 7 1/2 inches with a 3 1/4 inch blade. The handle is stabilized figured maple with Micarta and brass. SOLD delivered within the US.

Thank you, DanF. I find that my carving knives get a lot of different uses than whittling.

If it is not spoken for I’ll take it.
