Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

So it's clear that Osage Orange is grown in Italy... Ignore the lines in the background of the picture.

My first wooden Wednesday post!
This is my favorite at the moment: my SFO 85 EO linerlock in African Blackwood. Sorry for the pic quality; my phone is my only camera.
Thanks!

Nice knife, and a nice shot Baldy - especially for a phone.

I mistakenly went all Horn handles today.. alas.

My thanks to Trand for confirming the Osage provenance.. Talking of which, this Viper's a smooth type

Sam, really tasteful wood on that French knife. A Gilles' effort?

Regards, Will

Aye Will, tis:) It's the second one by him I've had. I gave the first to my dad and hankered after another ever since!

I'm liking your Osage Viper, I think it's my favourite rendition of that pattern. More Osage!!

Well, my wooden Wednesday keeps getting better! Just pulled this one out of the mail a little bit ago; a GEC 15 crown lifter. I find the black and tan nature of the ebony quite appropriate for a crown lifter!
These pics are as good as I could do today with the fading light.
Thanks!

Thanks waltmc! As much as I appreciate jet black ebony, I have really enjoyed the variations in color and grain pattern in GEC's ebony stock. Since I seem to be on such a roll today, here is a 15 one arm I picked up a while back in ebony as well. Some are more striking than others, but that to me is half the fun; seeing what shows up!

Memories just came flooding back. I haven't had a pint of Black and Tan for years!

Welcome to the porch. :)

Thanks Sam. I wasn't at all sure about the Viper when it first appeared but I find it not as heavy as I feared, wood of this type is less dense I suppose? Never heard of Osage until relatively recently either, but I'd like more.

Gilles and his workers put out an exceptional quality knife and the choice is deeply impressive too.
