Nice knife meako, it looks like Jacaranda wood, Puma used it often.

Cheers MT D-I looked it up on the Puma site and definitely Jacaranda- interesting as the Jacarandas that grow round here are very light coloured wood when green.

Birchwood Casey Super Blue, sanded the handle to be more comfortable and lightly stained it. It sure cuts a mean slice of spam! There's also a little rust spot I forgot to clean.. The #8 is a great all around size, but I find myself wanting a shorter handle sometimes and a longer blade others, so I'm going to get a #6 and a #12 soon.
