Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

All of this ironwood is killing me!!! It's by far my favorite wood scale. I'm feeling lightheaded.

Thanks Tom. The City Knife finally got off the "Must Buy" list but, it's making the "Want List" longer, having made me want even more of them.:D:)

Bob, who did the sweet custom barlow?

LOVE THE DESERT IRONWOOD!!!!
My Ebony IRJ and friend..

Hi James. Evan (Esnyx) did that one. Stainless liners, bolsters, etc. He just used the GEC blades. Pics just don't do it justice.

I remember all too well when that knife was posted for sale...can't believe I didn't pick it up :( But VERY glad to see it in your hands Bob! :)

I was surprised it lasted as long as it did too David. I figured several people would have jumped on it ahead of me. :D

These 2 are some of my most prized acquisitions from Rendezvous 2015 :)
2 Rare Snakes indeed, 1 and 2 of 2 Ship Deck Wood Vipers. Better pictures when I get better light.
I was looking at these and seeing all of the things that make them special.
>The blades in these are 1095
>Great Eastern Cutlery front tang stamp on the Blade, the one they use on the stainless knives.
>GEC Practical Knives Blade Etch.
>Northfield Cloud Shield and Threaded Bolsters.
>Titusville Iron Works rear tang stamp.

Ron, the wood on those two are incredible! Very nice my friend.

Bob, Thanks for the compliment. I got so excited when we got them I forgot to ask if they could tell me which ship they are from :D
I will definitely be calling Christine sometime soon :D

Ron - those are simply stunning sir...WOW...just...WOW!!!

More Ironwood! I love the configuration of the wood on those covers LLoyd. Very nice way to capture the grain and character of the wood.

Ron, nice catch! Do you know the type of wood? Teak? The one on the right looks a bit like lignum vitae.
