Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

will D2 get a patina?

Not easily in my experience, but it will. Here's a Queen Canoe gifted to me by PMEW, the patina is light, but so even I think it has been forced (not by Paul). I like it, but I think it would polish off quite easily, just using the knife has removed it a little.

Well I sure cant beat primble there but I think I'll start playing along with these "xxxx xxx-day" threads, force me to change things up a bit!

Nice knives and pics guys! Special mention to Primble's mad skillz!

The Thuya Burl on this little Boker is pretty nice.

Some crazy figured and colored desert ironwood on this Fox River II:

Bocote "Hounds Tooth":

I love the DI on this FRII, all cut from one slab:

Thanks Phil! I couldn't resist that beauty, but she will remain a safe queen until, eventually, I find her a new home.

Or.... not! :)

Beautiful pair Primble!!!

A when-new pic of my #53 Cuban Pen

Thank you Trand ! :) The Cuban Pen looked nice, how about now ?:confused:;):D

Primble : That drop point Muley looks terrific. Like this blade more than the one with that humback...

Got the #85 today, along with the BSK in ebony for later this afternoon

Thank you Steve. I always enjoy the 85's.:)

The Thuya Burl on this little Boker is pretty nice.

For Wooden Wednesday I had this NorthField Orchard Gem in African Blackwood in the pocket. :)

What ya gonna cut with that Hawk Ron ?;):D
