Thanks JTB_5! A ironwood 68 would be a beautiful thing but as far as I know, one has not been made. We can keep our fingers crossed for one. I'm just happy to have the cocobolo.

I could have praised the quality of every knife posted today; an explosion of xyloid excellence!!
Instead, I picked out a few posts that caught my fancy after supper tonight.

Today with an old Portuguese from MAM-Palaçoulo...

The only wood-handled knife I'm actually carrying this week is a MAM very similar to Pt-Luso 's, but his is much more nicely aged than mine!

Stuart, you almost always manage to come up with out of the ordinary cutlery examples; this one is VERY distinctive and intriguing!!

Man, that wood grain on the lower four is really appealing, E edbeau !

I have a couple of wood-clad knives on nearly-permanent kitchen duty that I'll post this week - an Opinel #7 carbone and my Union Jack, a rosewood lambsfoot.

I posted my Sword Brand #4 a few weeks ago, the Camillus lock backs are overshadowed by Buck but are very nicely made in their own right
