- very nice indeed, a good solid lockback. Fits very nicely in the hand, and the blade is a smidge over 3"

First 3 posts in this thread today illustrate for me the appeal of traditionals: Trav, John, and Ron each posted a wood-handled knife, but there's incredible variety among the 3 knives posted!

My ligneous knives this week are both European imports.
A MAM sheepsfoot from Portugal (whose handle I'd like to try to checker this summer):

A desert ironwood lambsfoot from England, the 2019 Guardians lambsfoot I call Valley Jack:

Variety is the spice of life Gary! Your two examples this morning are great examples of that fact! I have a couple of the MAM knives, including one just like your sheepsfoot. They are a lot of knife for the money!
