"Alright boys, let's knock the feathers off of these fellas."

The thing our Dad would say to my brother and I as we were cleaning fish, peeling peaches, or crackin' walnuts. Didn't matter what project was on at the time. My Brother and I count ourselves lucky for the times we spent knocking feathers off of things with our Dad.
