  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

Thanks Gary, sorry, I suffer from CRS for sure, but...I think it's some kind of 'spalted' maple. I bought it off the BF Exchange the past year or so. I looked back to see if I could find the listing, thinking it might have the wood, but no luck.
Thanks, Preston - much appreciated! :)

Hey, page 400!
And today is the last day of winter! :)

The Laguiole most of the day, and the Opinel in my pocket now as I relax at home after dinner.

Olive wood and beechwood.

Really nice Gary. The Damascus is nice but the Burl is to die for. Great combination of various knife materials.:)

Thanks, Ed. Boker makes a nice knife, as you know. I had one of these with stag covers that I gave to my youngest son some years ago. I missed it, so I got this one a while back. I really like the Thuya burl too.

I'm glad to see you back on the porch!
