WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PIC??? I'm anxious to see the recover... especially the osage. That's becoming a favorite of mine. It might not ever pass ebony, but I really like it.....

That's a good idea on the ink wash. I've never seen it before (I don't get out much...I
I actually used a black ink wash to stain the grain. Originally yellow wood with an orange grain. The other side is here:
