As was mentioned earlier, it's Yellow Heartwood.
I've always wanted to see one with some milage on it to see how the wood changes, but I've only seen them in un-used condition.

That Yellow Heartwood was hard to get, and that was back in 2016 when things were generally much easier. I thought it was the only one I didn’t have from that first #14 TC run, but it looks like maybe there was an Ebony, too, which I don’t have. (I was going to post a picture of the ones that I do have, but since it’s only relevance here would be it’s lack of wood, maybe I’ll go post it in the Barlow thread instead.)

This has been my Wooden Wednesday carry for the last several Wednesdays.

I have been fiddling with this one around the house a bunch since it arrived from Hungary a few days ago. Plum wood, which I think is a first for me.
