Looks like a good hard-working knife, GT.

I call this American Wood....its kinda red, white and blue. Dyed and stabilized maple.

Beautiful work as always, Dave! The wood reminds me a bit of the “pink and blue” dyed and stabilized oak on this AG Russell Boxcar Jack I picked up last Fall.

Love that first pic! 😁 Rather than buying one of those sets (which I probably should’ve done), I’ve been slowly working my way up and down collecting sizes of standard carbon Opinels. I’ve got a couple more small one and one or two more big ones to pick up still. (Not sure why I don’t just do it, it’s not like they’re expensive.)

What a sturdy looking knife Gary, that looks like it will take anything that comes its way.

Thanks, Todd & Barrett. :) It's 4" closed with a 3" sheepsfoot blade and a handle almost like on a hammer; definitely a tank. The photo happens to be taken on the biggest sycamore leaf I could find on my way to work on the day the knife was scheduled for a photo shoot.

Thanks! That’s some cool oak!
