Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

C&C did an SFO a while back. This one has 5160 blade steel, brass frame, and charcoal Dymondwood laminate handles
Yes, that's where I got mine from. I didn't know if I could mention them by name or not. Those charcoal models look good👍

I just checked the supporting dealer list, and they aren't listed, so I guess I shouldn't have mentioned them. I could have sworn that they were a supporting dealer.

Sorry I’m a day late for Wooden Wednesday. This is a picture from 5 years ago, of an Okapi re-handle I did, and gave to a coworker. The wood is from a cherry stump he brought me from his property, if anyone remembers that story…

The guy no longer works with me, but his wife does, and she told me yesterday (without me asking) that he loves the knife and uses it all the time. I don’t think she exactly said “that stupid knife you made him”, but that was the tone, and the idea that he fusses over it enough for her to roll her eyes at it made me happy…

Does this fit here? 1979 W88 Please remove if inappropriate

I'm not the OP but I'd say it fits this thread well.
If it doesn't you will have to cross off the "W" in the tang stamped model number.* ;) ;)
Sorry but rules are rules. 😄

edit to add following note; *Western used a W in their tang stamps to designate wood handle
