  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

Thanks, Gary.👍
It is walnut root wood vacuum stabilized with resin.;)
Thanks for the info, José; sounds like a very unique type of wood, as well as being visually appealing!:cool:

My wood-on-knives this week includes a hobo knife and a lambsfoot Barlow.
Rosewood HHB (and a hat I'll probably need sooner than I wish):

My first pics of the big brother to the Bunny knife.... this is my favorite pattern for a two blade knife... jack knife with both nail nicks on the same side...
The 78 in cocobolo.... these scales are a little lighter than I'm used to seeing for coco, but I think these might actually age better than some of the more figured examples. Some of those seem to turn just about completely dark, almost ebony like. These might resist that change.... time will tell.
