  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Wonderful woody Wednesday photo, Tom!:thumbsup::cool:
Do you have the key to lock that drawer? My wife keeps picking up old wooden dressers/chests with locking drawers, but we have keys for none of them. (It's a matter of debate if we have room for any of them.)

Brilliant brace of black wood Bökers, José!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

My xyloid examples this week are an Italian CEM agricultural knife with bubinga handle and a desert ironwood Guardians lambsfoot from 2019.

No key. I took this old desk/cabinet thing when we cleaned out my parents’ house - it’s possible there was a key in the big jar of keys they had, but it never occurred to me to look .

You can kinda see it in this picture, next to the clock they had custom made, which I also took. you can also just make out the same knife:

As you might discern from my taste in cutlery, I didn’t really inherit my folks’ refined tastes…
