Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

My rotation schedule assigned me NO knives with wood handles this week. But this bocote GEC #83 (thanks, Jeff) is one of a couple dozen knives I have lurking in a kitchen drawer; this morning I used it to cut up apple, clementine, and grapes for my breakfast cereal. (Old photo - I had no banana available today.)

Thanks, Jeff, although I think the patina color is just the light playing tricks. :) In the upper left of the photo is a little piece of the edge of our kitchen sink, and it looks sort of blue, too (which it isn't).

The knife seemed to have trouble with grape skins when I started this morning, but 10 swipes on my usual unglazed pottery candy dish cover for each side of the edge got it slicing like a dream again. 🤓:thumbsup:
