Top is a CASE 1975 Spear and Utility Blade Walnut Electrician Knife, second is a CASE 1971 Walnut Sheepfoot and third is a Gunstock Walnut Charlow ;)

Nice old knife! How's the pivot on that? Does it have lateral play?

it does have some lateral play , but I can't complain for its cost and about 40 years of use by me while camping , backpacking and general useage. it still has a very strong backspring and gets razor sharp easily. funny enough it was bought in a backpacking store in Berkeley in about 1973,,,not far from you at all. it cut its teeth in sierra nevadas

Cool, that knife has seen some beautiful scenery and no doubt, good times. It doesn't look like there is much reinforcing that pivot, but that knife has probably done more than any of mine ever will. Go easy.
