Woodlore Pro

I don't have any experience with the knife but £550 (USD696) is a lot to pay for O1 and micarta. You could get something made to your specifications using better materials for significantly less.

I have a world of respect for Ray Mears and I understand this is hand made, but I don't know that it would be good value.

I guess there is an element of brand name pushing the price up, the tapered blade looks interesting. Looking on SWC website he has that feature listed as an option on his custom knives so not something unique to the new Woodlore Pro knife
