Hi All,

Here's one for taking out and playing outside. 12 1/4" overall, 6 3/4" cutting edge, 7 1/4" tip to scales. Red & Black Linen Micarta scales over white liners, on top of 3/16" thick 1075 that's got a thin convex grind to an almost zero edge. There's a rough 400 grit hand finish on the steel, and there's a slight swedge ground in, but it's just for looks and won't cut into a baton:thumbup:
She's balanced (and ground) to be one heck of a slicer, but she'll handle heavier work too;) Though I with the taper to the point I wouldn't try throwing 'er;)

The last picture in next to a Buck 110 folding hunter to show handle thickness:thumbup: You can also see where I've got my maker's mark.

I'll let her go for $175SOLD, shipping and Paypal included (in the U.S.). Take $5 off if paying my USPS MO, and it'll be a bit extra to ship 'er outside the country. If you'd like to see more pics, just let me know! A leather pouch sheath is included, but I haven't made it yet. I'll need to know if you prefer right or left handed.

Thanks,

Walter Davis

Walt,

It's been a blast watching the progression of your work since you gave me that trailing point knife to check out and give you my opinion on :D Your knives look better and better every time I see one up! This one BY FAR tops your resume though!!!

Excellent work! I love the scales and it looks extremely smooth with that finish! That's going to make one hell of a camp knife for someone! This is an excellent deal! If I wasn't broke I'd be all over it!!! ;)

BTW: Folks, I've got one of Walt's earlier knives and use it fairly often for heavier chores...it holds and takes an amazing edge....I'm very happy with the comfort of the handle, the shape of the blade and the geometry/edge performance. You'll be very happy and do well to buy one of his knives! They're very understated. You don't know what you've got until it's in your hand!

That's a really nice big knife, I like the whole thing end to end

Is there a sheath for it and what type?

Thanks, forgot to mention that! A pouch-style sheath is included, but not made yet. I'll need to know which way the buyer wants it, right or left-handed.
