This one is Sold, see my post below.
Nice Woods knife I finished up a few days ago made from 1/4 inch 5160. Flat ground to a very thin edge, and shaving sharp. Overall length on this one is 10 3/4 inches with a 6 inch blade to the front of the brass guard. Handle material is black G10 with 6 brass pins and a 1/4 brass lanyard tube. The sheath is RH and was hand sewn and fitted for this blade from 7-8 ounce vegetable tanned leather for a secure worry free carry.
This one balances on the forefinger, it would make a good companion around the camp as well.
Asking 180.00 shipped in the USA and Canada
Paypal, USPS M/O, or Certified check preferred

Wow, thats a great knife, perfect survival / camp knife IMO. Good Job.
If I had the funds this week, this one would be mine!!!

Thanks for the comments guys I appreciate each and everyone.

I try to be as fair as I can when posting and selling my work, when mutiple parties are interested sometimes dilemmas such as this occur. Stratmeister even though you posted the first I'll take it here on the forum at 7:56pm Codered beat you to it via bladeforum email which was sent at 7:13pm. Since I did not post the first I'll take it gets it I feel that I am obligated to give Codered the first opportunity to seal the deal with you having dibs on runnerup.

Stratmeister I understand that this may upset you and I do understand why, I will gladly make you the same knife for the same cost. Of course you would be under no obligation to purchase the knife until you receive photographs of it after completion.
Send me an email if you would like to do this and I will get started on the knife this week.
Thanks,
Joe

That is fair, because if you had stated that first one to say I'll take it wins, I would have done so...I am ready to send payment, just let me know the correct email address. Thx.

Not only is this a great knife but the handling of the sale is of equal or greater quality. My hat is off to you sir!

Joe means just what he says. A Hoover knife will be worth the wait - I write from experience! Ray

I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!

Not really, just heard that in a movie. Missing out of a material item like this wouldn't make me mad, somebody trying to take my guns... That would make me mad!

Anyway, yes I still like and want the knife so I'll send an email to you about it. And thanks for the offer of a sustantial discount for my pain and disappointment. Or was that in my dream last night?.... ;-)

Thanks Joe, I can't wait to get mine. Thanks for being so accommodative to us both. Congrats Red, seems like we have near identical tastes and trigger fingers!

Stratmeister, you come across as a great guy, so sorry about all the confusion. In terms of taste, I just realized that you ordered a fiddleback 16" machete at almost exactly the same time that I did the other day, so yes you definitely have a great eye for quality!
