Hi Fellas:
I've been making a lot of choppers and Bowies lately - thought I'd make a knife with a thin blade geometry expressly for cutting. This blade was hollow ground on a 10" wheel down to .015" before I ground the secondary bevels then honed on a paper wheel loaded with green chrome. This will slice through connective tissue like a hot knife through butter.....it is heat treated to Rc 58-59 so a few quick swipes with a steel rod or ceramic in the field will keep it cutting efficiently. The stainless guard has red and brass spacers while the English Walnut handle is loaded with marblecake pigmentation and fiddleback figure. The first "I'll take it" gets it. I haven't made the sheath yet so please specify right or left (I hear you Bones555). I hope you like it! $250 plus $15 shipping. Paypal payment preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com, and I accept USPS money orders or personal checks. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.
Best regards,
TK
