Thanks Gus! The Terrasaur is really sweet. It's similar in shape to the earlier Recluses, but a little beefier so it's a great field knife. I had handled a few of them over the years, but they were all scandi ground and I had already decided the scandi grind really isn't for me and my style of knife use in the field. Using this one has put it in a whole different light for me and I am really enjoying it. I am still dreading sending it off in the post, but I am really looking forward to the tooled leather sheath that Mark is going to make for it.

I will have to post some new pics of it tomorrow. I was just looking at it, summer sausage is awesome for creating a patina, it's nowhere near so bright and shiny anymore :)

great photos Brian! I've yet to take out my Terrasaur, but having whittled with it couple times at home, I know it's going to be one of my go to knives. I'm always amazed with you carrying your DSLR into the woods; looking at the EXIF file, looks like we have the same camera and it mounted on any zoom isn't exactly the lightest.

Beautiful pics as always Brian! That is a fine looking terassaur you picked up!!

Thanks man. I really like the size and heft of the Terrasaur, and I like that the blade is not shorter than the handle which is a personal hang up of mine that I have had for years but have worked on over time...

Nope, it isn't light at all. But the photos for many of my threads are taken while I am out working and carrying it and using it anyway whether I took thread photos or not. I can't share the work photos freely, so I always take some I can :)
