  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Woodsman Fail

I'm pretty confident that I could survive a week under the same conditions, hopefully long enough for someone to find me, as long as there's water handy and I can keep myself from dying of cold and exposure, but if I had to survive under the same conditions in the same location for 12 weeks, I want Les Stroud and Cody Lundin with me. There's just some things that are best left to the professionals.

Did anyone seriously think this guy was given a chance to last the 3 months?

There is a world of difference between short term survival & long term living in the bush.

At least his controllers had enough sense to provide him at the start with the means to pull the plug when the time came.

IMO, full credit to the guy for having a go

Kind regards
Mick

Just watched all the video clips. A bit depressing actually. Have to hand it to him for putting in that much effort and making it as far as he did. This dude had a serious food/nutritional deficit going on...can't imagine how bad that must feel.
