Wow, everyone must be at Blade or awaiting the aftermath, 'cause this is too good of a knife to be still on here, especially at this low price. I've had my own Woodsman for a couple months now and it really is a handy, tough knife. I've come to appreciate the extreme comfort, leverage, security and versatility (4 grip choice) of the nicely rounded and grip filling handle. The blade's belly is lower than the handle axis making slicing food at waist level ergonomic and the point seems to be positioned for an effective thrust/stab into the occasional onery tree or phonebook. The blade holds a sharp edge well through whittling, notching or wedging tree limbs to break them. And it is easy to sharpen w/ sandpaper or sharpsmaker. Even the brushed finish on the steel is a good choice as it looks not much different after digging.
I've said it before, Doug's photography does not come close to his knife making skills. When in the design process of my Woodsman Doug sent me some sample pics of some woods for the handle which looked pretty blah. When I got my knife the bloodwood's color was much deeper, with vibrant highlights. Anyway, this is a great user knife that many folk will enjoy experiancing. While it may not be a safe queen it is also nice to look at.

OK, my first purchase on the site, so work with me, let me know what is next, but I'll take this woodsman in Amazique. I have observed purchasers never put their information on the reply, so evidently you can get my contact info from when I registered, so will await information on how to continue with this transaction.
