What do you guys think of this?

Its 10.5" long. 5" handle. This one is 3/16 thick, but they're going to be 5/32" thick usually. The front pin is a SS corby bolt. The handle is Goncalo Alves (maybe my favorite wood) and Osage with a red liner. This is my favorite knife I make. I made this one for me so I can do some testing. I even spent a bit of time hand rubbing the blade.

That is absolutely, without a doubt, unequivocally, beautiful. I love that knife. The shape of the blade, the length, everything looks perfect. If I had to be in the woods with just one knife, that is what I would want.

Inspiring.

Capital! Absolutely a great looking tool there; the handle material is a great combo. Big and beefy but looks like it fits the hand like a glove. I like how close the actual sharp part of the blade gets to the handle for fine work; that is what gets my attention on this one as far as working with it. I just love your knives and their handle patterns and shapes.

Thank you both!! This one has really lit a fire in me, I really like it.

I've got 4 more on the bench and can't wait to get pics of 4 different handle combos...

Nice work! Is it a full convex grind? I can't wait to see the others. What steel is it?

I couldn't agree more. Well said. Now when can I buy one like that, Andy?!!

Its 01 steel. Convex grind with a convex bevel.

There are 4 more on the bench, Rockywolf. They're coming.

That's awesome! Now, go make about 200 of them! But take your time, because I'm about tapped out on new knives for 2008. :grumpy:

Andy, I really like this one!! The shape is great, the handle looks like it fills the hand quite nicely! Keep it up! -Matt-

Damn bro, Excellent work. I like that it has more of a point on it then the one I got.

The Handle is a lil bigger also right.

I am gonna have to get it, as much as I love the proto (My favorite knife of mine), this just might out do it.

Damn you! :D

Thanks Guys. I can't imagine how long it would take to make 200 though...

FB, you hit one out of the damn ballpark on that one!

High praise. THanks bro.

Tony, You are becoming my favorite person... ;)

That, my friend, is what a knife should look like. In my opinion, it has the ideal lines that attract me to a knife. That has to be the most perfect blade and handle shape I have ever seen. Now, just make a 4" blade model!

P.S. It looks like it would do just as well in the kitchen as it would outdoors.

Thanks Andy:thumbup:\

I would love to be down for 1 of those 4 on the bench:D

Wow Andy. That knife looks AWEsome!
That is another Fiddleback at the top of my list.
