Woodsmen!!! And some Bushies

I also like those woodsmen, what is the blade, handle and OAL? thanks.

John

The Woodsman is 10.5" long OAL. The handle is 5" long and the blade is 5.5. I've done them in 3/16" thick 01, and in 5/32" thick 01. I haven't decided which I like best either. I plan to make em both ways.

Andy, awesome as usual. Heck, not as usual, these are even better! Especially the birch/padauk!!! That's a good look for you!!! The reddish tinge of the padauk warms up the birch alot!!!

Andy, I saw in the W&S thread that you said these were all spoken for. That sucks. Well, it's good for you, bad for me. I wanted to get my hands on the son of a birch/paddywhack. That thing is hawt.

If we just keep complimenting him ... he'll make more! :)

These are fun to make. I will be making more.:thumbup::thumbup:

Man those handles are beautiful. You are moving into the artknife world quickly my friend!!!

Yesh indeedy, as I hinted at in the other thread, I'm loving these. Especially...um, all of them! These are just incredible. I need more work. :D

Also, is there any way of reserving a spot in the passaround? I never seem to get on in time to catch 'em, the spots are taken in the first twenty minutes most of the time. :p

Thanks, The top one in the pic is Rosewood over Osage, and the bottom is Massaccar ebony over Maple.

Massaccar ebony over maple is on my short list.
Some of my old Buck 110's have massaccar ebony scales; it's a nice looking hard wearing wood. Ages well, too.
