I bought these German-made Ulmia mortise chisels recently, even though the handles felt a bit big for my hands. They have ferrules at both ends of the handles. There is also a shock washer between the lower ferrule and the turned shoulder.
Before I ever used them I tracked down another brand that fits my hand better and bought those too. Consequently these Ulmia chisels are unused and still have the price tags on them. I'm basically looking to get what I paid for them. I will eat the shipping cost from Washington state to locales in the lower 48 states.
Sizes: 4mm, 6mm, 12mm, 16mm (1/8"+, 1/4", 1/2", 5/8"+)
Price: $129 for all four chisels, shipped within CONUS
Be forewarned, the handles on these chisels are big (1.6" diameter) so these will best fit big mitts. Had I kept them, I intended to trim the handles to a smaller size, which is always a possibility.
