WOOHOO got my Mini Sus Scrofa order in!!

Double Cut with Serrations and Green Linnen. Olive with Black G-10. and an LE should be comin my way

Those serrations really look cool , i think if i can afford it i`ll get a double cut serrated with Black G10 !!

Man i can`t wait for these and i have`nt even gotten a BATAC yet !

HOG Guy covered me so I could go out and get a nice wine hang over.

This one feels like it has full serrations:grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy:

Anyone know if this one will have the usual delivery timeline? I thought Jerry had posted something about a shorter wait time, but can't find it. I'm hoping for the usual though. I need to have DC/Tan w/ and w/o teeth.

I'm taking some aspirin and going back to bed for a few hours. :(

:rolleyes::rolleyes:,

I just ordered a couple of more:rolleyes:, hope this doesn't keep happening till they come down, my CC's will be in flames.

But I will have every combo that I'll ever possibly consider. I'll figure it out later.

Awake again and posting! ;)

LE and a dc/grn linen/serrations for me.

I'm hoping I get to continue my LE series of 18. (Hear that, Boss? I've been a good lil piggie! :) )

I may go back to bed too. The normally unoccupied section of the campground is now full with the Month of May - Indy 500 partiers. Hey?! I'm a friendly guy! ;)

The Boss said it would be up for 4 weeks. Likely start shipping a couple weeks after that...

Tan - DC for me. I thought hard about the Black G10 but I really like the tan handles.

Busse Hawkbill ROCKS!

not a hater here, but just want to know why you guys are so excited about the new SS?? it doesnt seem like the best design for anything i need in a knife. So why are you guys so anxious to get one??

Hawkbills (and I consider this a Hawkbill) have a unique following. They are very different than a standard blade profile, for sure. And for folks used to looking at a standard, they look "odd" but there are a lot of things they do very nicely. I use hawks when sailing (H1 steel) to cut lines as the shape keeps the line on the blade. Likewise for pruning.

There are a couple schools of SD that advocate hawks as well (look at Spyderco's new P'kal) One guys sig I always loved said something to the effect of 'insert the tip and let 'er rip'. That's pretty accurate. For that reason they make great package knives too.

Just a few reasons, there are lots more. If you don't like it and you won't use it, just hang out and wait for Skunk to get some Badgers at the store (I LOVE mine BTW!) but I bet if you gave the SS a serious try you'd be very surprized at what you'll be able to do with it.

(I'm not sure about a kitchen knife though.... I don't think it would work for me there, but, what the heck, I'll give it a go.)

It lives.... I'm back and feel human again:thumbup:

Sooweet my man! I just got my order in for the my Duo of Doom.;)
I was thinking of you the other day while window shopping for bikes. My doctors say the only alternative to the surgeries I am supposed to get, is healthy excercise beyond my daily work, and hopefully this will extend my duration of limb use. :D I am going to have a hard time deciding on the 2-4 cheapest versions of GT or Specialized, but the thought of you and your gross worth in bikes has made me almost thankful for collecting ex-wives.:foot: :D

Glad you're up and feeling better.

Both GT & Specialized are good bikes. I think GT is a better bang for the buck. But when you figure out a price that you might spend then go see what you can get in the used bike market. Usually a used bike sells for half of its price when new even if it is in near perfect condition. So $200 can get you a $400 to $500 two year old bike.

Cycling will keep you young. I tell people I meet that I'll race in the 55+ age group next year and they are blown away. Even guys I have known for 15 years have a hard time with that. So I wish you luck and lots of great rides:thumbup:

If you think used bike prices are good, check out police recovery bicycles.

I got a classic Schwinn 10 speed for $20 at auction. It had clean chrome, good paint and good wheels. It also had a sticker from a high class bike shop.

Some one must have spent $3-500 before it was stolen or seized.

A more popular bike like a full suspension mountain bike sells a lot closer to retail but you can still find a good deal.

By the way, I ordered a double cut/green linnen and an LE.
