WooHoo, Mantis knife - totally new original design....

And what exactly is a Special blend of Titanium?

Mission Knives uses a Beta Titanium alloy that they are able to run at 47 RHC. This is not very hard for a steel alloy, but is very hard for Titanium. The result is a blade which will not corrode, is non-magnetic, and still has some degree ability to take and retain an edge.

The G10 used by Mantis, of course, will not hold any type of edge, but can be used for piercing.

Some one could argue that the materials of construction are so different that the knives are totally different and there is no infringement of intellectual property. Howsoever, that "some one" would not be me.

73 bucks for a piece of sharp g10?

Yea...no thanks.

Never mind the illegality of those things in most places.
