Wool blankets-cold weather

I'm reviewing a nunatak quilt right now, I may need to talk to you danny!
 
A point about wool. It's one of the few materials that will still warm you when wet. When I used to dive a lot in cold sea water with a wet suit, woolies under the wet suit were the ONLY thing that would help keep you (somewhat) warm. Also wore a heavy and snug wool sweatshirt over the top of the wet suit.
