wool blankets

Excellent quality. Expensive. But still blankets - low trapped air to wt. ratio.
I like the surplus italian wool blankets for about $10, they weigh 5 lbs, but have a very tight weave and are very durable. I made a capote out of 1 one of those with and officers blanket. I also like my civil war blanket, the weave isn't as tight but it is ligher, in terms of living history it isn't the best for authenticity, but passes inspection.
