Hultafors GK. Cannot wait to see how it compares to my beloved M2K

Will do. If it gets in by this weekend, hopefully I will be able to put it through some paces at the farmstead...fishing, morel hunting, etc. :)

I can't recall this info; anyone know how big the handles on these are versus something like the Mora 510? Big enough for big-pawed gent?

Nice...I really like this one. Cant wait for pics!

Been wanting to buy a lot of cheap good woods blades to keep on hand for the kids, nonknife totin friends, and "loaner kits"....Thought that Mora was gonna be the only option.

Yeah, I predict these will be more and more available.

I want one! What steel, basic carbon, like 1095?

I would assume they are just Swedish strip steel, but I have not seen any specs.

Should be here in a couple days im assuming. If not sooner...Pix then

Glad you got it!

That link seems to link back to this thread.

Hultafors GK is much more comfortable in my hand than Mora 2000. I just don't like rubber grips (and that Mora 2000 green has got to go :)).

I think they have carbon and stainless models with the GK being carbon.
