I live in Canada, very close to the border. As such, I order a lot of stuff online, have it shipped to a box in the states, and then I bring it across myself. Avoids a lot of extra shipping and brokerage fee's. Imagine my delight when I get an email from my mailbox company telling me I have a pickup. I wait in line at the border for 30 minutes, drive 5 minutes to the mailbox. Sign for the package, and inspect it. Four knives ordered, four boxes. I proceed to open each box, ooohing and aahing as I go. Imagine my surprise when I get to the grasshopper box, and there is nothing inside! DOH!

I ordered a spydie bug, grasshopper, honeybee and another tenacious as a gift. I was most excited about the grasshopper, because it is my first convenient sized slipjoint. I ordered them from Amazon.com so I know they will make it right. It is just annoying that I spend an hour of my day picking up my package, and its not all there. :(

EDIT:
Just finished having a live chat with an Amazon CSR. They are sending a new blade today with free 1 day shipping :D I was very impressed with how curteous and professional they were.

I received the knife the very next day. I think I might use the extra spydie box for something. Maybe use it as a gag gift box to one of my friends that loves spydies. Put a dollarstore knife in the box :D

I feel like a little kid in a toy store when I get a new knife in a package lol

I know! Me too. I have had a bunch of amazon deliveries recently. Knives, an axe, a couple of sweet books. I love waiting for the UPS guys.

Cool part is theh can use the package weight to straighten out issuss quickly. I love Amazons.
I had no idea they used package weight. They could tell if a knife as small as the grass hopper was missing? That is pretty epic!
