Dear moderators,
Please let me know if I inserted\attached the images correctly. This is my first time using the Photobucket, bear with me please.

The knife blade is Wootz steel. My make; hand forged close to the final shape; ground; polished and etched to show the steel pattern.
Blade is 4" x 1"+ x 1/8"+. Tapered to the tip with flat bevels. Unfortunately my stamped mark went under the guard.

The "guard" is Nickel-Silver with a bit of engraving and my mark.

The handle is deer antler. I carved the crown a little.
The sheath is leather; hand stitched; dyed; treated with saddle oil. It has a touch of tooling by the edge.
OAL - 8-7/8".

Please be aware that this steel will rust just as 1095 or similar high carbon steel. Common sense care is required for the blade and for the handle.

A friend has really punished one of Dmitry's knives and he stays amazed at it. He uses it for everything in the woods. Stays sharp and just keeps working. I have several also. Don has batonned his just to see if he could wound it. So far so good. I've been waiting for some more of these.
