Just finished another one.
"Crazy Dmitry Steel" aka Crucible Damascus\Bulat\Woots. Hand forged from ingot close to the final shape. The blade is 3-1/4" long about 1" wide and just under 1/8" thick at the guard. Flat ground bevels are hand finished to 800 grit and etched to show the pattern. Temper line is visible.
The guard is sculpted from a solid piece of Wooly Mammoth task bark.
The handle is Cocobolo wood. Vacuum treated and polished.
It comes with the leather sheath. 8oz leather, hand stitched, dyed and tooled.

SOLD
Thank you!

Quick question: is your "crazy" steel the same as "modern Woots"? I'm trying to document my blades and was wondering how I should describe the one that I purchased. Great work on this one as well, by the way!

Clarp, I call it "Crazy Dmitry Steel" exactly to distinguish from historical (true) wootz. My steel is made (supposedly) the same way as true wootz. If someone will tell you that his wootz is identical to true historical wootz - let me know. I want to look them in the eyes.

7rip13a - thank you!
