Word on Paramilitary Engraving?

Fozzy, try typing in "paramilitary" in google. It brings up a lot of links to stories about human rights, extremists, guerrillas, and terrorists. I may be wrong, but I think that paramilitary may have a negative meaning in common usage.

The name bothers me. Simple as that. Honestly, I don't care what the name means to other people. To me, it has a negative enough meaning that I don't want the knife.

Anyways, it looks like a cool design and I hope Spyderco is very successful with it. I really enjoy all the new designs. My poor wallet can barely keep up.

I'm glad there's no Paramilitary on the blade ( I get looks when flipping out a blade, let alone one with '...military' on the blade).
However 'Para' would have been cool!

I hope NGK gets them quick, pre-ordered them couple a months ago.

Good news. I'm glad the name will not be on the blade. It'll be a much cleaner design in my opinion. All the better to see that awesome full flat grind.

I've never been a big fan of huge print all over the blade no matter what it actually says. It just looks cheap in my opinion.

The Paramilitary is one of only 3 knives that really caught my attention this year. The other two being the Chinook II and the Yojimbo.

After the Lil' Temperance it's hard to be impressed. :)
