Today i have start to make two slip joint folders, the first will be the tanto model but with a clip point blade, and the second will be a trapper model. For the one in the picture I will use black G10 with red bolsters or stainless bolsters I’m not sure yet, but I will see what fits best on the design.
Now for the trapper model I think I will put some black G10 or carbon fiber.
I will post more pictures of the progress soon.

Today i have cut and fit the liners for the trapper model, now i have to mark the open and close position for the blade so I can make the last hole for the pin in the liners, and tomorrow I will start to make the blades and back springs ready for heat-treat.

After a health issue, I am hoping that soon I will be back on track and start to do some progress for the two folders.

Finally, today i have done some small progress with the folders,
Today’s work, as you can see at the pictures I have manage to cut and fit the bolsters and scales on one of them and I have make the blades ready for heat tread.
for the moment I have to put the trapper model on hold because the carbon fiber they have send me it was not the one I had order so I have to wait for the new one to arrive.

Yesterday’s and Todays work, i have heat treat and grind the blade, and I have given the handle the final shape, now it is time to clean and polish all the parts and after that I will sharpen the blade and assemble the folder.
