Work knife recommendation

I do landscaping and masonry for a seasonal job. I'm a 22 year old college student saving money for my upcoming semester. That being said, my budget would be under $100. I'm constantly cutting various materials on the job like various cordage, rope, hard plastic (weed wacker line), cutting through towels for makeshift rags, and other moderately heavy duty tasks. I almost got the benchmade Adamas on our favorite secondary market for $90 but of course I was on a hike when the auction ended. I AM looking for a partially serrated knife, preferably not Spyderco, I already have a pm2, manix 2 g10 and Delica. Looking at either benchmade or zero tolerance or something similar. It's okay if it's over my budget because I will be looking to buy used on said auction site. Any other recommendations are more than welcome.

Preferably drop point, hard steel, and weight does not matter. No recurves! I sold my ZT 0350 because of that. Thank you everyone

I did own a cold steel recon 1 tanto and the triad lock they use was too stiff for me to open and close one handed (plus gloves)

All the knives I've owned/own are:
-Spyderco resilience
-kershaw cryo 2
-kershaw blur s30v
-kershaw leek
-Spyderco Delica 4 ffg
-Spyderco pm2
-Spyderco manix 2 g10 (2nd gen)
-buck 110
-Ontario rat 1
-ZT 0350
-cold steel recon 1 tanto

Anything you didn'tlike about the RAT 1? If you can grab one in D2, that would be a great work knife (although under your target budget).

Never tried the HK Axis, but by all accounts seems like a good one!

I did the same type of work during my undergrad, and the knife that I got was the Gerber Applegate Fairbairn Covert. It's in you price range, 154 CM steel, partially serrated, spear point, and light for its size. I know the Gerber name is Mud around here, but that knife served me well, and it continues to be my go to for when I head out into the field. It is a knife that I have felt comfortable using as roughly as I ever use a folder since day one, and I like it.

I like Gerber but only their US made knives. They are very well made.

I own and operate a lanscaping buisness, i use my zt 0562 everyday. That is probably out of you price range. My next choice would be my cold steel code 4 with cts xhp. Or a better choice with a better handle would be the recon 1.

Milwaukee Fastback ll, $15 from Home Depot plus whatever nice knife you decide on.

Isn't the HK axis a budget line of benchmade similar to spydercos persistence-resilience line? Or am I completely wrong?

Sorta, but stuff like the HK Axis are totally quality. The pika or one of those is ehh.

Id go with the HK Axis new or a used BM Griptilian

Check out the Victorinox 111 mm line. One hand openers and other tools that often come in handy on the job.
