Work Knife

"Does anyone have any experience with this knife or any general suggestions when it comes to a solid, do it all sort of pocket knife?"

Well, if you're a young guy then listen to an old guy...

For example, despite all the hoopla, a Corvette is just a Chevy. Yup, built with the same wrenches, seats stitched on the same sewing machines, and all the bolts muscled into place by Dmitriy, fresh from his hometown of Vladivostok.

Our precious knives are made the same way. Some will be perfect, some dinged, some stolen in the mail. And because of all this gray hair I can get away with saying that while cutlery is a tremendous hobby, it's still a piece of metal with holes drilled into it.

I now have expensive knives, the fruits of hard work over the years. But I just looked next to the computer and I find my little red wharncliff Cold Steel folder. I'm guessing my 'pusher' paid 24 bucks for it, and I spotted him 7 samolians for his trouble. One of best knives I own, and I own dozens.

The moral of the story is "buy what you like." Don't buy stuff I like, don't buy stuff that Sylvester Stallone likes. (My knife saleswoman sells to him and wishes she didn't). While a passel of mouthy clowns might dissuade you, it's your money and your knife.
