Hey guys

Is coral difficult to work? Is it more like a rock, or...well..if anyone can give me some direction I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Dave

Coral is easier to work then MOP. It drills easy and the same belts that work MOP will work coral. It will split if you get to aggressive when peening pins. I use a backing material and work the coral until it is very close to finished size. Then I blow all the little holes out with compressed air very well. I then seal everything with super glue and let dry overnight. I then take everything to finished size blow everything out and seal with the super glue again with an overnight dry. I keep repeating until all holes and depressions are filled. It gets a light buff on the wheel to bring out the shine.

ETA. if you do split it you can glue it back together and it is almost impossible to see the crack.
