Or with wood like I have:

Also BassPro has some with CPM154 steel.

At least this one being prooven as a working knife from 1964.

Thanks, Vassili.

I'll reiterate what some others have said. If it were me, I'd carry a fixed blade and a smaller knife in the pocket...... actually, that is what I do! :D

I've been carrying a Busse Fire Warden as a fixed blade at work, and a Case CV stockman in my pocket as a dedicated slicer/nail cleaner. This combo has worked great for me, YMMV.

The older Gerber Sportman folders from when they made their slimline series of folders was quite nice and they were USA made. In fact they are very very nice. I have several from my childhood still in mint unused condition. Some of the heavier ones can be problematic with the weight not so much from being uncomfortable in the pocket but from actually poking a hole in them and falling down your pant leg. I had this happen with them as a youth and thought at first it was a unique situation but it turned out to be something that repeatedly occurred with a couple of them but only the heavier ones. Turns out the weight for the thinness was enough to eventually wear a hole big enough to lose the knives. I only lost one though and eventually went with the smaller ones after that which were not a problem. Then later on I just added my own pocket clips to them. Not a problem with the brass ones but the stainless was another story.
