Does your heat treat blade rack look like this?

Would it be better if it looked like this?

Is there any interest in pursuing this?

Mine looks similar to the 1st one except with a stainless base. I've been meaning to go get some refractory bricks so I can make one like the 2nd one but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm really interested in the one you came up with  Come on Rob, spill the beans!

The seam is sealed - at least the one you see. It is an old empty envelope for the picture though. Didn't want a customers blades sitting with the door open while I played with the camera. The blades are between the quench plates already. Been working on this for a while. Not priced out yet - but is is ever nice to have a stable rack that works with you instead of against you.

More soon.

OK Teasing over.

Evenheat will now sell this to you. It's almost as pictured - either the Evenheat MK I which holds 4 blades - and fits nicely in the new KH 120V ovens, or the Evenheat MK II which holds 6 blades and fits in the standard size 220V offerings.

I've used these and can't overstate what a joy they are. I have a couple prototypes in stock, and more on the way, but call Mike Kelly at EvenHeat. This is his baby and he has (again) bent over backwards for your business.

Hey Rob, could you post a pic of it out of the oven and give us a brief description of what it is? My guess is its a kiln shelf for the base with ceramic rods?

I assume you are going to be a distributor for these, when you get the larger ones in please post that you have them in stock or shoot me an email.

Sorry JT

I actually posted before I should have. All good now though. We do a pile of Heat treating here and this is going to make a big difference.

EvenHeat has bent over backwards again for us. Maybe down the road you'll get a chance to try their offering.

Rob!
