I know that a lot of people have come to expect customer service emails to go ignored and unanswered. I am not one of those people.
Anyway, I placed an order with the working person's store for a Dickies (did you know that they're making a coat similar to the carhartt's?) coat on November 28th. I had a 10% off coupon, the shipping was free and was supposed to take two weeks. After three weeks I sent them an email since their phone and live chat hours are not convenient to me. I sent another. And another. Finally this morning I found some time to contact them via live chat. I waited 5 or 10 minutes and was prompted to send them an email. I tried to contact them again and waited 2 or 3 minutes and finally got to chat with some one. She told me that the coats were on back order. Then the gal stopped typing to me. About the time I picked up my phone to call the working persons store, I got a call from that gal that I'd been typing to. She couldn't understand anything that I was saying so she had to call me back one. Anyway, My coat should arrive at their warehouse in a week, then they are going to ship it 2 day UPS.

My beef is not with the faulty chat program, or the bad phone connection, but with the bad customer service. The gal I talked to today was helpful. But so many unanswered emails is not acceptable. AND the fact they they did not tell me that the item I was ordering was on back order, or not in stock.

I will not be purchasing anything from the working persons store again.

I've ordered from WPS several times and every time the entire order was backordered. It's almost as though they don't keep any stock on hand... Imagine that. At least they don't try and charge your card before they are ready to ship.

:confused:The incompetence continues. I got a call this morning. Apparently they have had the coat in their wearhouse for the past 3 weeks and just never hipped it to me. It should arrive monday.
I guess they get points for honesty :thumbdn:

I ordered a belt from Working Person Store. After 10 days I emailed them. They responded stating that the item was backordered. It took almost a month to get that item.

The item, when it arrived was good and the price was OK. But it took a long time to get.

Sounds like my experience is not unusual. I will think twice about ordering from them again.

The stoopid thing is that I actually found the coat in a local store, bought it and then found that I could save 40% by buying it at the working persons store. So I returned the coat and bought it on line. Saving $30 is not worth freezing my butt off for the past 6 weeks

Well I finally got my coat the other day. They made it all better! I got a coat in a color I didn't want AND they included a reading light/laser pointer to make up for the fact that the coat was 7 weeks late. GREAT Customer Service!:confused::rolleyes:
