Been posting around here for a little bit and thought I would post this picture. This is the first Scandi style knife I've tried. Actually its only the 5th knife I have put together. Blade by Grand Leavitt tight twisted patterned Damascus. The rest by me. Brass, horn, brass, Holly, 100 year old redwood, holly ,horn. Mosaic pin by yours truly. OK so I'm not technically a knife maker, but I'm working towards it. Actually everything is in place except the belt grinder. What do you think?

I like it
I don't do the scandi grinds well. My Wife's family is Norweigian so I donate a knife to their reuinion each year for raffle prizes. Helps to fund The reuinion.
I found sone masur Birch and use it for handles and try to keep a Scandi look.
