Now that I'm back from a much needed vacation....I'm ready to hit the ground running!

Problem is....most of my knives are "out of shop" right now...:o

But here are some pics of what I've got "in shop"....and up an running today:

Nessmuks in 3/32" 1095 and 1/8" oversize CPM 3V
(all are heat-treated...some are orders, some available)
Bushcraft in 1/8" O1 - canceled order..available

WIP0401-01.jpg

K-TUSKs in CPM S30V (all are orders)
K-TUSK variant (order)
EDC Prototype in CPM 154

WIP0401-02.jpg

Mater in 3/32" 1095 (have a couple more at the oven)
Nessmuks in CPM 3V
Bushcraft in O1 (available, I think :D)

WIP0401-03.jpg

Survivors - grinds are done enough for heat-treat, still need to radius the finger rings.

Nessmuks in 3/16" O1

(a couple are orders...the rest are available...I have more cut out than shown here)

Also in the works:

Bushcraft 2009 Production Run = 342 blades have been cut out (ouch!! $$$) and are getting ready for heat-treat

Monster Nessies - I've got 13 cut out ready to grind for heat-treat and 30 more on order - steel is on its way to be waterjet cut

WSS Forum Neck Knife - enroute to the CNC company for grinding/finishing

BushMasters - same as above...heat-treated and ready to be CNC machined.

As I think of more...I'll update them here.

I've cleared out all but about 30-40 active orders....which means I may be opening orders back up soon....probably not until after the Blade Show, though.

In all I have a little over 700 knives "in the works"....all in various phases.....so, things are kinda crazy right now!!!

If you've been waiting for an order to be completed....thanks for your patience...they will be done soon!

If you've signed up for a Production Run....fingers crossed...I am very optimistic about these being done quickly once they are "in house".

If you're wanting to get on a list for any of the above....the clock is ticking!!! (and some lists are already closed)

Hope everybody had a great Spring Break.

Those look good. Any chance of seeing some 1/4" FFG 3V Nessies any time soon? Perhaps some in green micarta?

Thanks for the comments, guys!

I'm still behind on emails/PMs....if I don't reply to yours today, shoot me another email just in case.

Dan,
Is one of the Nessmuk's mine?

Kevin

KBT = :thumbup:

Dan,
Are all of the Monster Nessies orders or will some be available?

I have quite a few orders....but still have some available....shoot me an email so I have a record and when I get them heat-treated I'll let you know.

I am waiting for the steel....I haven't had them cut out yet...but don't worry...I will get to them...Just usually goes better if I can do them in batches.

What do you mean by "oversized" on the 1/8" CPM 3V?

It means that the thickness is just a bit over 1/8" thick. It's an industry thing so that when a maker buys oversize material, they are guaranteed that it will be at least 1/8" thick.

I'm not sure how much oversize they will be, but Dan can let you know.

Hope that helps.

Dan,

I have sent you another email. It was yesterday instead of on the 2nd. I have a Dr.'s excuse why I could not send it on the 2nd, which I will attach below.

All I wanted to ask was if you could put desert ironwood on mine in place of the blade micarta scales, obviously for an extra cost. I do not want the tapered tang so, hopefully, my request will not screw up anything in your production schedule. Please let me know.

I would like to pass it down to him and I think ironwood would be nicer as an heirloom.

Regards,
Steve S.
